About Our Region

Our 10-county region offers a vibrant urban core in Indiana’s second largest city—Fort Wayne. Downtown Fort Wayne has new condos and apartments ready for you city dwellers and offers a growing arts campus, the number one ballpark in the minor league, cafes, live music and night life.

But we don’t stop there! If you prefer a quiet, laidback lifestyle, check out one of our surrounding counties. Like the idea of a quaint downtown where you know the shop owners? Want to live on a scenic lake? Or maybe live miles out in the country and pass horse and buggies on the way to work? Yep, we’ve got that too.

And the people? Hoosier hospitality at its best. Perhaps that’s why famous people like actress Shelley Long, writer Stephen King and NFL player Rod Woodson (just to name a few) have called it home at one time in their lives.

• But we’re more than just a pretty face. When you’re ready to play, we’ve got options. Kayak on our rivers; rev up your speed boat on one of our region’s numerous lakes; enjoy miles and miles of bike trails…the only question is where do you want to start?
